One of the easiest ways to help is to re-post and re-send this Vlog, along with a sincere message, to all whom have serving hearts. This is the third installment of my journey. Changing the world requires help.  There are different ways to donate support.

1) For me, changing the world required me to leave a comfortable salary and job in the U.S. As a result, every little contribution allows me to work in Guatemala and continue to impact the lives of children.  You should see the button that says, “I’d love to support you Ron.”  Donating to this link will help support my living expenses and free me up to concentrate on God’s work here.

2)  Schools need paper, pencils, computers, projectors and a host of other things that require money.  You will see a button coming soon that says, “I’d love to support The Scheel Center.”  Donating to this link will help support projects that are happening at the school.  Be sure to check out the “Projects” link to view videos of our projects and add comments, ideas, and thoughts to help solve some of our problems.  Your idea could help hundreds of kids get one step closer to breaking the chains of poverty.  When you fill out the online donation form, please be sure to write, “To be used for (name of project here) at the Scheel Center” in the memo box.

3) If you have physical resources that you would like to send down, there are several ways to accomplish this depending on the weight. In all cases, please be sure to email me (ron.fortin@gmail.com) what you plan to send, so that I can make sure it arrives safely.

  1. If you have very large items such as medical equipment, computers, projectors, motor vehicles, tables, chairs, work desks, dry erase boards, etc. Please send it to our office in Bismark, North Dakota. Once a year we have a shipping crate sent to us here in Antigua.
  2. If you have an item that will fit in a suitcase or a package of some sort, please send it to the office in Bismark, North Dakota.  They will have traveling volunteers and service team members check it as personal luggage.
  3. If you have a very small non-valuable item (less than $100), feel free to send it via UPS or FedEx.  It should get here without too much trouble.
